How Can I Prevent Testicular Cancer?

Researchers are still learning what exactly causes testicular cancer. At this time, there is no way to prevent the disease. Your chances of a cure are best if you find testicular cancer when it first begins to grow. You can increase your odds of finding testicular cancer early with regular testicular exams. Visit your doctor at least once a year to have a testicular exam. And talk with your doctor to learn how to do a testicular self-exam (TSE). Ask how often he or she recommends that you do one.
