Can I Get Checked for nonMelanoma Skin Cancer?

Screenings check for problems in people who don’t have symptoms. Your doctor can check for signs of skin cancer as part of your regular health exam. Or you can schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. A dermatologist is a skin specialist. Your doctor can also show you ways to monitor any areas of skin that might develop cancer in the future. This way, you can catch problems and seek medical help before the problems become more serious.
